Scroby Sands is located in the North Sea and came online in 2004. . It is run by E.ON.
It has been built in around 10 metres of water. Most of the UK projects are built in shallow waters with the turbines using monopile foundations.
It has a nameplate capacity of 60MW and was developed by E.ON.
The UK offshore industry is second to none regarding development. Unfortunately, the most of the UK projects are built by foreign companies.
