The London Array wind farm is situated in the North Sea and was brought online in 2013. . It is run by Masdar.
It has been built in around 15 metres of water. Lots of the UK projects are built in shallow waters with the turbines using monopile foundations.
It has a nameplate capacity of 630MW and was developed by Dong Energy.
The UK offshore industry is second to none regarding development. Unfortunately, the most of the UK projects are built by foreign companies.
