Lincs is located in the North Sea and came online in 2013. . It is run by Centrica.
It has been built in around 20 metres of water. Many of the UK projects are built in shallow waters with the turbines using monopile foundations.
It has a nameplate capacity of 270MW and was developed by Siemens.
The UK offshore industry is second to none by way of development. Unfortunately, the most of the UK projects are built by foreign companies.
